The Washington School for the Blind Foundation (WSBF) honors those individuals and families who have made a will or estate plans, assuring the continued funds to support and enhance educational and employment opportunities for education of the visually impaired or blind student in Washington State. The WSBF is currently building a general endowment fund with the long-range purpose of making WSBF programs and projects self-supporting.
Memorial/Tribute Gifts
Your contribution may be made in memory or in honor of an individual. When your gift is received, it will be promptly and properly acknowledged to the appropriate person.
Bequest or Estate Gift
By leaving a gift to WSBF in your will or estate, you will be giving the gift of a lifetime.
A bequest can be made in three different ways:
1. A general bequest, which will specify WSBF to receive a designated sum.
2. A specific bequest. E.g.You are directing that a particular property be transferred to WSBF.
3. A percentage of your estate.
4. The residual (or a percentage of the residual) of your estate, what is left over from obligations and your family/friends.
