WSSB Library Services now has a new web presence created by one of WSSB's own students. To view the site, please enter HERE!
The Media Center is an inviting place with many options
available for WSSB students -- large tables near the window to work at or just daydream,
quiet corners for study or beanbag chairs to curl up and read.
Available equipment such as a CCTV or a Kurzweil Reading Machine, TV
and VCR, or a Brailler makes work easier for our students.
We have books available in Braille, Large Print, Regular Print,
Braille/Print, Audio, and even a few books on CD. We also have video
tapes for education and quite a few just for fun. Many of them are
described to add to a student's enjoyment. Some of the current favorites
are Shrek, Spiderman, Toy Story 2, Tarzan, and dozens of others.
There are old favorites on the shelves, awaiting check-out, along
with new books that will become favorites. The Children’s Corner has
many new books in Print or Print/Braille. We are putting new
additions on the shelf weekly.
The hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, including all lunch times and
breaks so students can always find time to come in and visit.
