Activity from Ashlee:

Sing the words to the Snowman Song and do the actions. First start on the ground and grow tall with your body then get smaller as you melt back to the ground.              “Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman . Once there was a snowman tall tall tall. In the sun he melted ,melted, melted in the sun he melted small, small, small.”    -Happy Holidays!

Text Box: Winter Holiday Program
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, December 20th
Our preschool students have been working hard to learn the songs and movements for their part in the Winter Holiday Program. They will be the first to perform at 6:30 p.m.
Please bring your child to room 3 at 6:00 p.m. and we will take them to the auditorium as a class in time to impress you! Students should be dressed in festive holiday clothes.
After our part of the performance, we would ask that one person from your family come to meet your child in the Commons so he/she can sit with you.

Vancouver Mall

On Thursday, December 7th, our class went out to the Vancouver Mall.  We started with 2 rides at Carousels & More (train & carousel).  The students all enjoyed both of these.  Our next stop was Santa Claus.  Most of the students enjoyed getting to set on his lap. After a good lunch, we were able to ride the escalator downstairs to look for the Christmas tree. There were lots of decorations to look at and talk about as well as sounds around us.  The students all did really well at following directions.  The trip was enjoyed by all!

Classroom Craft Connection:

The students have been very busy these last few weeks making decorations and gifts.  Be sure to check in your child’s backpack next Thursday (our last day in 2006) for your child’s special treasures.  Merry Christmas!
