Activity from Ashlee: Sing the words to the Snowman Song and do the actions. First start on the ground and grow tall with your body then get smaller as you melt back to the ground. “Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman . Once there was a snowman tall tall tall. Vancouver Mall On Thursday, December 7th, our class went out to the Vancouver Mall. We started with 2 rides at Carousels & More (train & carousel). The students all enjoyed both of these. Our next stop was Santa Claus. Most of the students enjoyed getting to set on his lap. After a good lunch, we were able to ride the escalator downstairs to look for the Christmas tree. There were lots of decorations to look at and talk about as well as sounds around us. The students all did really well at following directions. The trip was enjoyed by all! |

Classroom Craft Connection: The students have been very busy these last few weeks making decorations and gifts. Be sure to check in your child’s backpack next Thursday (our last day in 2006) for your child’s special treasures. Merry Christmas! |
