Add the endorsements to your
The TOVI reform committee has worked for three years to obtain
recognition for teaching endorsements for TVI and O&M
Steps to access the application for
Teacher of the Visually Impaired and/or Orientation and Mobility Instructor
Teaching Endorsement:
•
Go
to OSPI home page (www.k12.wa.us), helpful links and click on teacher
certification and
renewal
•
At
the Certification page, click on the picture of “Teachers”
•
Click
on one of two choices: already ‘Certified’ or ‘Becoming Cert in the State’
•
On
far left, click on ‘Adding an Endorsement’
•
In
box A, scroll down to the bottom and choose the Out-of-State Application; ‘down
load to print.’
These documents will include:
a). Request for an Endorsement to a WA Teaching
Certificate
b). Fee payment schedule (explanation)
c). Select appropriate ESD
d). Complete application for Endorsement (TVI and
e). Institutional Verification of Endorsement Program
Completion and Character (explanation; fax example)
Submit check, verification and completed application
to your appropriate ESD
Make a copy of
everything!!!!
