June 20-25, 2010
The primary focus of the Technology Camp will
be on using JAWS and the BrailleNote. A checklist
will be completed during the first session on
each student’s assistive technology skills. This
assessment will determine instruction for the
rest of the week. Learning how to use Book
Share will be an essential part of this class. All
students attending the Technology Camp will be
required to arrive with an active Book Share
account.
Book Share is free for visually impaired students.
Enjoy some time away from that
computer. Sports and recreation
schedule will reactivate those
brain cells.
