WSSB 2015 Spring Calendar of Events and Volunteer Opportunities
Speech Club-library -3:05-4pm: March 19, April 16, May 7 & 21
March 26-NFB Student Talent Show in Fries Auditorium from 6-8:30pm
Come enjoy students as they share their talents in the beautiful Fries and bring a friend
March 27-Meet in Irwin commons at 8am to head to Abby’s Closet @ Oregon Convention Center to assist girls in picking out the perfect prom dress. We return to campus at 11:30
March 28-Goal Ball Tournament in Kennedy Gym-from 2:30-8:30pm to help with score keeping and 10:45-12:45 to help serve lunch and 4:30-6:30 to help serve dinner. Please contact Jen at email@example.com if you would like to volunteer
April 6-10-Spring Break
April 13-Chef and Student Annual Pie Making Event in cafeteria from 2-4:30pm
Assist students, under Chefs directive, through the process of making a pie. Students get to take a pie home and donate remainder to Share House
Seasonal Crafts in Rec. Center-3-4pm-April 14 & May 12
April 23-Little Mermaid @ NW Children’s Theatre-6pm-9:30pm-meet at fountain
April 27-30-Camp Magruder-Contact Mr. Baldwin at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending and or helping out with camp
Spring Hikes April 28, May 12 & 26 from 3:05-5:20pm-meet in Irwin Commons
Volunteers walk and visit with students
May 7-Hair, Make-up and Fingernail Station for Prom goers in Rec. Center from 3:10-4:45pm
Volunteers assist with hair, make-up and fingernail polish for girls, and sometimes boys want their hair spruced up too.
May 7-Prom set up and assist-Contact Kim Curry at email@example.com if you would like to help set up and or assist with prom (set up in afternoon and prom in early evening to 9pm.
May 14-Track Meet from 8am-3pm
Volunteers assist Mrs. Butcher with pre-track meet arrangements, man stations and partner with students to help guide them to events the day of

May 21-Lion’s Field Day Jamboree from 4-7pm
Volunteers assist in guiding students to events and join in the fun.
May 21-Senior Lock in from 7pm-7am in Kennedy Gym-Contact Corey Grandstaff at email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering for or helping with
May 28-Volunteer recognition dinner in cafeteria from 5-6:15 and concert in Irwin auditorium from 6:30-8pm
June 4-End of Year Picnic in Old Main court yard and awards ceremony in Irwin auditorium from 4:30-7:30pm
June 5-Graduation from 9:30am-noon in Irwin auditorium
June 11 & 12 WSSB Olympic Experience -
Students have opportunity to participate in activities that build Olympic values: beep kick ball, golf, triathlon training (swimming, biking, and running) and triathlon competition. Volunteers will assist staff and help sight guide students through activities. Volunteers can also be triathlon coaches. Let Adrienne know if you would like to volunteer for all or a portion of the event
