This position will
service five districts within Lewis County. Bachelors degree and job-related
experience required. Candidates must also possess the Braille Literacy Usage
Exam (B.L.U.E.) certification or the Library of Congress national braille
certification. Valid WA state driver's license and valid WA state teaching
certificate with special education endorsement required. Certification as a
Teacher of the Visually Impaired from an accredited and nationally recognized
university program required. Ability to pass a criminal background check and
results of current TB test required. Salary is per the ESD 113 certificated
salary schedule and depends upon both level of education and experience.
